I am forever grateful and promise that the review below is 100% honest and of my own views.

WOWSERS! Where do I even begin with my praise for this book? It BLEW. ME. AWAY. It’s hard to read this book and believe that it’s a DEBUT novel!
This is a book that moves about so quickly between time frames and characters that you really do no need to pay attention to what is going on. I didn’t mind this at all! Told from three character perspectives give an added depth to the story as usually, you would find a crime thriller written from the victim/perpetrator angle.
The character who stood out most for me was Miller. I could easily devour an entire book written from his perspective. His story was uncomfortable to read and definitely gives you that ‘creepy’ factor. I was constantly questioning every action and wondering how and why it linked with the other two characters; Maisie and John.
Let’s talk twists. I got to a place with psychological thrillers where I would avoid any that boast ‘a twist you didn’t see coming’ or ‘this twist will blow your mind!!’ because nine times out of ten, it’s a bit of an anti-climax. Knowing how much Ronnie reads and understands the genre, I’m sure she was conscious that the twist in this book is one that the reader really doesn’t see coming until it’s revealed. This alone increased my enjoyment of the overall story.
