Never has a quote been so relevant to EVERY book worm around the globe (and further!). SO many books, but so little time! The same can also be said for book bloggers. We read that many books so we can share them with our audience, but we find ourselves short of time to write all our thoughts down in a comprehensive review.

This brings us nicely to β€˜Mini Review Monday’. A place where, to compliment our current content, we can share with you some of our initial thoughts on books we have been reading over the last week πŸ™‚

DEATH BY HALLOWEEN by David Warkentin

I used to love the old kid’s choose your own adventures books so decided to give this a try.

I am not sure if it was cause it was written in the first person or cause it was a multiple choice options, I found this actually started to spook me as much as a good horror novel. I loved the variety of the options and the tangents the story went in depending on the choices made.

Definitely one to read on a dark Halloween night!

OFF. Your Digital Detox for a Better Life by Tanya Goodin

I found this book rather insightful, whilst I’m not a massive user of my phone I know people that are.

This book highlighted habits that it is very easy to fall into and how to break them. This is done in a way that is easily understood together with inspirational quotes to break up the flow of information to make it easier to absorb.

I have since taken some of the advice on board so I spend even less time just mindlessly on my phone. Fingers crossed it works!
