Nora is a fiery independent beauty with an attitude cold enough to freeze any man’s heart. Any Man except Quinn Roberts; the Breed’s newest and most vicious weapon as the war against the Hunters, who is hell bent on making his mate see what their love could be.
With each of them bearing the scars of a brutal past, will the bond they share be enough to heal them, or with war and bloodshed encircling them, will their bond be destroyed before it even has a chance to begin?
After reading the first novel in The Breed series I could not wait to read the second novel, Nora’s Choice and what a story this is.
Picking up from where the first novel left us, we are thrown back into the chaotic world of vampires and werewolves, this time our focus is on Nora and her budding relationship with Quinn. Originally against the idea of falling in love or giving herself to any man, Quinn pursues Nora with a determination that matches her own.
The story between these two characters is excellently woven into the harrowing tale of us versus them. Hunters are stalking our favourite characters, threatening the quite and loving existence they’ve created. Deadly groups of humans who want to destroy the vampires and werewolves we’ve come to love.
The writing is brilliant at shifting between characters, giving us a glimpse into different perspectives as the story unfolds. As much as the anguish of events breaks our hearts, it is the bond between these characters, the love developing between Nora and Quinn that really draws us in.
I was drawn into the world created in this story, eager to see how the events unfolded and I never wanted to put the book down. No matter what is thrown into the mix with this story, what obstacles the characters face, it is the love they all share, the bond between worlds that makes it so you never want to face anything alone.
As a massive fan of anything involving werewolves and vampires, I admit that I loved every bit of this novel, the second in what I hope is many more to come.
