Blurb:

When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she knows it isn’t love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

Never ask about the past.

Don’t expect a future.

They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.

Hearts get infiltrated.

Promises get broken.

Rules get shattered.

Love gets ugly.

BOOK REVIEW.

#UglyLove by #ColleenHoover

“Don’t ask about my past. And never expect a future.”

These are the two rules that Miles Archer has when he begins a relationship with Tate Collins. As this is a CoHo book – we know that there is more to this! Much much more! I didn’t expect it to be as HOT as it was!

I was pleasantly surprised with Maybe Someday and really enjoyed November 9. What I didn’t expect from Ugly Love is how HOT it would be! I can certainly understand the attraction to Miles. He isn’t a bad boy, or another ‘Christian Grey’. Miles is a guy who has had his fair share of heartache and is trying to protect himself. What he didn’t count on was meeting Tate.

The only thing that normally gripes me are Epilogues where they all live happily ever after and all is rainbows, meadows and picnic baskets (think Mockingjay, Fifty Shades, etc) however I felt that the Epilogue for Ugly Love was important to the story. I wouldn’t be the only one with unanswered questions about what happens next!

Learning that this is becoming a movie has me excited. Excellent casting choice was made with Nick Bateman as Miles and CoHo has recently announced in an interview she will be announcing the actress playing Tate pretty soon as well!
