#BookBag | #NewFeature | #MayBookBag

Good morning everyone, [K] here

Here is a new feature for the blog that I hope will benefit my never ending and ever growing reading pile.

I am into the 5th bookbag, and with this lockdown I have started internet book shopping, despite having a huge TBR pile! But with the current situation I am hoping to have more opportunities to read.

Having a local library so close to my place of work, which you should support, means that whilst I do read, the pile of owned books at home does not get any smaller. The library has ex-stock for sale too which doesn’t help! Unfortunately at present this is closed due to the pandemic, which in turn is a blessing in disguise as it has stopped me collecting any more books (just need to rein in the internet shopping now!)

To remedy this, I have decided to set myself a challenge of 4 books a month (not alot I know, but I am trying to be realistic), including any for blog tours that I am participating in, which I will put in a bag and aim to finish by the end of the month when I will give an update as to how I progressed.

For this month, as I have committed to a few blog tours, I am going to aim to finish the book collection I’ve started last month and to read and additional 8 books.

May’s #bookbag selection for [K] in my Romance Author and Reader Events bag:

My new London bag (do like a bag as a souvenir!) holds the following reads:

finish Dynasty: A Mafia Collection

The Running Lie by Jennifer Young

Trust Me by Angela Clark

The Kompromat Kill by Michael Jenkins

Slow Down by Lee Mathew Goldberg

Don’t Dare Touch by Sonja Jesus

Watermarks: Life, Death and Swimming by Lenka Janiurek

The Price by Kerry Kaya

Don’t Dare Live by Sonja Jesus

Just Babies: The Origins Of Good And Evil by Paul Bloom

The Mermaid by Christina Henry

Lock No 1 by Georges Simenon

Is there any that you suggest I should read first? Or any that are on your TBR? Are you following a similar idea to start reducing your book towers at home?
