Touch, only if you have a death wish.
Every time Hawk turns around, Amelia’s doing something she shouldn’t be doing with someone she shouldn’t be doing it with. It’s getting under his skin, seeping into his veins, and triggering the killer inside him. He struggles to keep control, but restraint is disintegrating. The harder he tries to keep her love interests away, the closer they get. Sleepless nights of vigilance turn into sleepless days, and he messes up. In all his attempts to protect Lia, he inadvertently puts her in danger. Now, he needs to rectify the problem and kill again.
When her heart screams out what it wants, Lia finally listens. She takes control of her life and follows her heart all the way to the guy she fell for. How is she supposed to know he doesn’t want to keep it? Broken-hearted and lonely, Lia becomes friends with the guys from the soccer suite. Aiden Keys, the bully who treated her like vapor, makes it his personal mission to keep her safe from harm … and away from Robins.
With the soccer team as bodyguards, Lia is never alone, except for the night of the storm. The night that changes everything.
A unique, gripping romantic thriller that captures the evolution of an obsessive stalker into a serial killer.
Sonya’s a nerd—a cool nerd—who loves science, books, make-up and unicorns. She even has unicorn slippers and unicorn plushes adorn her office. It’s not an obsession (or so she says), it’s simply an ode to her imaginative side. Storytelling has been her passion since her youth, but her family believes it’s more than that.
Though she’s fun-loving, complex-minded, and heart-driven, her philosophy on life is quite simple: Shit happens. Keep going.
When asked to elaborate, she said, “Believing in yourself is probably one of the hardest things to do, but look in the mirror. You’re still standing. That’s strength. Don’t underestimate yourself.”
Sonya also believes in fairytales and in the beautiful things a mind can conjure. She’s a firm believer in empowering the crazy fictional ideas, putting them down on paper, and letting them flourish into a story.
“There’s so much potential in a dream… a thought… not exploring it seems like such a waste of something absolutely beautiful.”
Amelia now knows who she wants in her life and puts her mind towards getting what she wants. But will this person feel the same about her?
Hawk is losing his grip on his control, things are unravelling fast and whatever he tries to do to stop it doesn’t seem to work. What extremes will Hawk go to to get his Queen?
Picking straight up after book 2 we are catapulted back into events. I find as this series progresses I am getting more and more attached to Lia, I just want her to be happy (and make up her mind!) and finding Hawk’s thoughts and actions more unsettling.
I find now we are at book 3 in the quadrilogy I cannot actually put this story down! I have to keep reading to find out what extremes Hawk will go to next and when Lia will finally have her happy ending.
I cannot wait to start book 4, but equally I don’t want this series to end!
