Blurb:
Ever since Harry Potter had come home for the summer, the Dursleys had been so mean and hideous that all Harry wanted was to get back to the Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. But just as he’s packing his bags, Harry receives a warning from a strange impish creature who says that if Harry returns to Hogwarts, disaster will strike.
And strike it does. For in Harry’s second year at Hogwarts, fresh torments and horrors arise, including an outrageously stuck-up new professor and a spirit who haunts the girls’ bathroom. But then the real trouble begins – someone is turning Hogwarts students to stone. Could it be Draco Malfoy, a more poisonous rival than ever? Could it possible be Hagrid, whose mysterious past is finally told? Or could it be the one everyone at Hogwarts most suspects… Harry Potter himself!
Review:
New book Review – Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Harry Potter part 2. – 5*****
It has been a long time since I have finished a book in less than a week. This one I finished in 5 days. It was so easy to read that I would sit down thinking to have 10 minutes and it would be an hour later. I was so gripped and needed to know what was going to happen next.
As I said previously this is a re read for me but it didn’t feel like it. I had forgotten so many of the details it felt like a completely new story.
“If anyone wanted ter find out some stuff, all they’d have ter to do would be ter follow the spiders.”
This book is very much written for the age group it was first aimed at and so I found it did not ever get really gritty however it is very much enjoyable for all age groups.
I would recommend that you read this series in order however that is not important if you do not.
