Blurb:
With her life blowing up, big time, Hannah struggles to make hard decisions about her career and love life…until she has a much-needed breakthrough.
With her life blowing up, big time, Hannah agrees to meet The Ex for coffee…and change into a cute dress. He always looks so perfect, even with sweat stains under his pits. She fingers the porcelain mug, he clears his throat and then raises an eyebrow…it’s not quivering like it normally does when he’s upset or nervous, which bothers her. And just as she’s starting to think that he may be trying to get back together with her—again—her fiancée walks in. Chairs fall to the side and the table slides as they start grappling…is it wrong that the concept gives her a cheap thrill?
Haunted by the ghosts of relationships past, Hannah struggles to make hard decisions about her career and love life, while Celeste wonders whether she can stand by her man, Ireland chooses teams, and Jack…doesn’t. The final book in the Sex, Life, and Hannah series is an emotional roller coaster ride from L.A. to New York and back, in which friendships are tested, sexcapades are fleeting, and long-ticking timebombs are dropped. But just as the happily-ever-afters seem further away than ever, hope resurfaces in a messy mudpool of truth-telling. After all, sometimes a breakup is just what you need to have a breakthrough.
Review:
Wow, let me just have a breather before starting this review….
This is the final book in the Sex, Life and Hannah series, and Hannah’s life is not calming down yet!
The Ex is back (again, why does she keep letting him back in!?) which of course stirs things with her current Fiancé, cue lots of drama. Hannah and her friends have some decisions to make, whether they like it or not. I do not want to say anymore regarding the storyline as I don’t want to give the game away.
As much as I love Hannah I still found myself wanting to give her a good talking to, whilst reading her antics I laughed, commiserated and facepalmed (quite a few times over this series!) I felt she is that friend that always seems to attract drama (we all seem to have one!)
This is the final book in the series and I am sorry to say goodbye to Hannah and friends, but I do wonder if this is the last we have seen of them or if she will reappear with more adventures.
I may restart this series after my current few reads so I can enjoy all Hannah’s highs and lows all over again!
