Hello and welcome to our stop on the Kill Shot blog tour!

Thank you very much to Emma @ Damppebbles and Sally Rigby for providing a copy of the book to [K]

The reviews below are 100% honest and all of her own views.

Blurb:

The game is over…..there’s nowhere to hide.

When Lenchester’s most famous sportsman is shot dead, DCI Whitney Walker and her team are thrown into the world of snooker.

She calls on forensic psychologist Dr Georgina Cavendish to assist, but the investigation takes them in a direction which has far-reaching, international ramifications.

Much to Whitney’s annoyance, a member of the Met’s fraud squad is sent to assist.

But as everyone knows…three’s a crowd.

Kill Shot is the tenth book in the acclaimed Cavendish & Walker series. Perfect for fans of Simon McCleave, J M Dalgleish, J R Ellis and Faith Martin.

Review:

A famous sportsman is killed DCI Whitney Walker and her team are submerged into the snooker world along with a member of the fraud team to help out, much to Walker’s irritation.

The beginning of the book gives us a slight recap of the last events in previous book to bring us up to speed on current events, which I appreciated, so I could gain a faster understanding of the interaction between Whitney’s family and friends. I loved the interaction of Walker and her team and how she progresses in the investigation of the case. I felt I could see the case unfolding in my minds eye as she questioned the suspects and filtered the information received.

I found this to be a quick read for me as with each new revelation I kept on wanting to read just a little more, and see if my theories as to who did the crime were correct.

This was book 10 in the Cavendish and Walker series, but it can be read as a standalone like I have done. Although I will definitely be investigating the previous books in the series now so I can get to know Cavendish and Walker better as I have some of my own questions regarding the characters that will be answered in the earlier books.

I would not be surprised if this series is adapted to a tv series sometime soon. Fingers crossed it will as I would definitely watch!

If you love a good crime drama please pick up this series
