Hello and welcome to our stop on the You Let Him In blog tour!

Thank you very much to Sarah @ BookOnTheBrightSide and J A Andrews for providing a copy of the book to [K]

The review below is 100% honest and all of her own views.

Blurb:

The only thing she was guilty of was trusting him

All Jenny Clifton ever wanted was to be the ideal wife and mother. When she married Michael in a fairytale wedding, followed by the birth of baby Daniel, her life was complete.

Yet just three years later, the shine has faded. Now, money is tight, and the occasional argument has become daily screaming matches between Jenny and Michael.

Something needs to change… and it does, when Michael is killed in a brutal hit and run, breathing his last with a stranger holding
his hand.

Lonely and distraught, Jenny strikes up an unlikely friendship with the witness to the accident, clinging to the connection with the man who watched Michael die.

But as she uncovers the secrets that her husband was keeping, Jenny realises that her perfect life may have been a perfect lie – and worse, that her new friend may be harbouring dangerous secrets of his own…

A gripping, twisty psychological thriller packed with suspense and a jaw-dropping ending. Fans of T.M. Logan, C.L. Taylor and K.L. Slater won’t be able to put this one down.

Review:

Jenny has a picture perfect family life, unfortunately in reality things were not picture perfect. The shine has faded from her marriage, finances are causing a strain and fuelling the daily arguments between her and her husband Michael.

After a horrible accident, Jenny’s unconventional friendship with the last person to see her husband alive leads her to discover things that may have been better left hidden.

We are quickly thrown into the action with this story, and I found the pace did not slow down. I loved the characters, even if I did get frustrated with Jenny for not seeing what was infront of her face. (Readers perspective, being able to see the bigger picture, where the characters cannot)

This was a cleverly executed storyline that was a pleasure to read. Whilst this was my first book by J A Andrews, but definitely will not be my last and am eager to start reading another book of his soon
